I'm trying out "Flash DVD Burner Free", as I'm a newcomer to DVD burning I liked it initialy because it wasn't to complicated to use, problem is that although the burning process completes without error, the DVD will not play on my DVD player (DVD Error). I've double-checked the burner settings and can't see anything that looks wrong, also are + & - DVD's usable on modern Rewriters or is there just one compatible type (have tried both). Thanks.

what are you recording - other dvds or movies you downloaded? also what operating system and what utility are you using to view the dvd?

Since the first posting I've found that the 2 DVD's I've burnt, WILL play on my PC so I'm pretty sure that they're in Divx format (downloaded music Videos), I guess I thought that when you burnt the file onto DVD (no matter what file type), it converted it to a format that a standard multi-region DVD player could read but obviously not. How do I get round this ??
