I have a pretty good 6 yr old compaq presario 5152 tower type computer that can with a compaq monitor and key board, [[[now my daughter just gave me an Apple Max tower about 5 years old, model SA 240-3540-058 and had a sn of 614-0108, Can I just swap out the computer and use what ever is loaded on it Im sure its loaded with Apple Max programs ??]]]:cool:

your really need to be more specific as to what you are swapping. aer you swapping parts? software? cases? monitor? or just replacing the compaq with the apple?

you can take the whole compaq system and swap it with the apple...
screen, keyboard, mouse, tower the lot
or... you can just swap the towers, have the monitor on the mac (not sure if this works, mac uses different plugs i think), you can have keyboard on mac (not sure if macs have PS2 port though), you should be able to have the mouse on the mac, and you can have speakers on the mac
