3 Simple tasks and I can't find a way to do them!

It can't be that hard to just do the following:

1) Put 700mb worth of data onto a CD-RW disc
2) transfer that data to another PC
3) erase the data from the CD-RW disc
4) Do steps 1-3 again

check to see if the disk can hold 700MB, because it might be 650mb. Also, make sure you even have a CDRW drive, to burn the data on to the disk. You might just a have a CD-R drive. Which can only read disk's not write them.

well. maybe your exceeding the CD limit. Try putting like 650MB on the disk instead of the full 700mb.

I think you've misunderstood my problem... I know how to burn data to the CD with no problems at all, it's when I come to delete the data from the CD that I have a problem. I just don't know how to do it.

hmmm ok a stupid question but.

Is it a CDRW disk?

also, to remove data, go to my computer, click the drive that your CD-RW drive is located. [possible D:], and just delete whatevers on the disk.

It's a CD-RW disc yes. I've tried just clicking delete on the data on the disc but it won't let me.

hmm weird. Ok do you have burning software? (NERO, or ROXIO? or something) Go into 1 of them, and try to erase the file that way. If it don't work then im not sure.

See this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306641) for how to do it with Windows XP's built in burning software. Also, any burning tool (Nero, Easy CD Creator, etc) has an Erase Disc option, so you can use that. But, you cannot just delete the files like you do with files on your hard drive.
