Unhappy That nasty option in my Tools Menu

Hello everyone. I am new here!

I have an extra option in my Tools menu of my Internet Explorer 6.01 browser: Clean Internet Access Record. I don't know how it got into it automatically

I tell you I have never ever accepted anything like it before. It links me to a Chinese website which I never visited before. I dunno what it means to me to have that in my browser.

I want to get rid of it: check my 'downloaded program files' I saw nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of that option from my browser?

Thanks

look in your add/remove, see if there is something you dident put on your pc, go to c program files see if there is anything there, if you can get a name go to search, there is a utility, hijack this, i have never used it but every body sez it works good, and there will prob. be someone that can help you with it

Thumbs up Thanks a LOT

It worked finally and found out what that was... also I discovered a small NEW.net program in my add/remove. thought it was a microsoft .NET add-on. it was a disguise.

Thanks a LOT for that program u recommended and I did pretty sure checked that I did not remove key settings in my browser.
