You mean MS Paint? Does it appear just once, or repeatedly? Does it happen only after logging in? Does it open blank, or with a specific file loaded?
You may want to checkout your startup lists (Start->Run->msconfig, Start->Programs->Startup folder) to see if there's anything calling it there.

I can't see anything in the startup logs which could cause MS Paint to open. You say the problem started 2 days ago. The obvious question to ask is, did you install anything (hardware or software) or make any changes immediately prior to experiencing the problem?

Ok, time to start narrowing down some options. Disable any startup item you can - anti-virus, firewall, Quicktime, Java update, anything else that starts up automatically. If the problem still occurs, and you've double-checked that you didn't miss any startup items, it may be time for a Windows reinstall. If not, enable the startup items one by one, rebooting a couple times each time, so you can figure out which process is running Paint.
