but i cant get it to work :P
System- XP Pro SP2
It's a WiFi adsl modem router (Dynamode R-ASDL-C4W-G). I already have a dsl modem but I want to share my Internet to another PC. I only wanna use the router for a home network(WiFi lan) so my other Pc can connect to the internet (yes there is an adapter installed on other pc already and works fine, picked up a secure network but not mine) To be honoust I dont know much about routers :/
Now if I go to 'My network places' and view 'network connections' there are ther following:
Broadband - BB connection
Dial-Up - BT Broadband (default connection)
LAN or high Speed... - 1394 Connection & Local Area Conn..
If I open the BB connection (thats the routher modem) it askes for User/Pass but this is for connecting to the internet surly & I'm already connected via Dial-up.
The Router has 4 light displays - Power - working
Wan - nothing
PPPoE - nothing
Lan/WiFi - Red (but the LAN is working so if i use a network cable from router to other pc it would prob work but i want WiFi :) )
The Router Is plugged into my pc via netwrok cable. I've tried to set up a WiFi connection but nothing -wants me to use a USB flash drive which i dont have or set up manually, which i dont know how to do :(
Any help would be greaty appreciated, thx
