ok, i went to my friends house and updated my ipod on his compuiter. i took it home and downloaded a program that lets you pull of the music. then i coppied the music files to my desktop (pc) and then imported them into itunes. later i moved the folder that had these songs into the itunes music folder from the desktop (to consilidate room) now, all the files that i moved have a (!) warning (about 2500 songs) and it says i have to locate the file they are in. so i find the file for the song in the itunes music folder and it plays fine. my question is: how can i locate the files all at once, without having to locate each of the 2500 songs individually? thanks

Take off the 2500 songs (drag them to your desktop), go into itunes and delete the songs off the ipod (Make sure you removed them first, they still show up though). Then drag all the songs into "ipod" in itunes, so it will transfer all the songs on it again and you won't need to look for 2500 individual songs.

Oh, I thought you meant that was happening from your ipod. Delete all the songs from the itunes library, and drag them in again. Or drag them in again and maybe it will fix it up.
