every time i play an mepg file i get this error:

Hi phoenix - It sounds as though MPLVM6.DLL is a WMP file but I cant find any info (that is not in Japanese) about it. Can you find the file, rightclick on it and post back the properties please.

Hi again phoenix - Its sounds like a Ulead issue. Have a look here (http://www.ulead.com/tech/techsupport.htm) and see if there a patch or update for whatever Ulead software that you are using.

I was getting the same type of error after installing various photo software, I tried updating the windows media player to no avail. I finally moved the file mplvm6.dll out of the windows/system folder and now I am playing mpeg's agin no problems. I am not sure if this will work for you or if you are still having trbl but I thought I would post it here anyway. I am also not sure if any of the other programs I loaded will need the file but will have to wait and see.
