I am unable to continue to write on a multisession CD-R. I use Ahead Nero Burning ROM v. 6.6.0.13 and my CD-RW writer is a Iomega CD-RW 9600 (Lite-On OEM).

What happens is that, after I reinsert the CD-R into the writer for a 2nd writing session, choose "New Compilation", select "Continue Multissession Disc", and click on the "New" button, The Select Track window opens and indicates: "-- This disc is not writable, please try another one --".

Yet, I had previously made sure to start to write on my CD-R (1st session) using the "Start Multisession Disc" option and making sure that I do NOT select the "Finalize CD" option. If I check the CD with the "Disc Info", I can see the Session 01 and Track 01.

What am I doing wrong?

I may be wrong but if you want to do what you are saying then you should be using CD-RW disks. They are made for doing that but CD-R's are mainly for just burning once and thats it.

Thanks for your reply, misterbadnback, but I doubt that this is the issue. In some instances, I can make multisession CD-Rs with Nero (I've already managed to do it), but sometimes I am unable to do so.
