Whenever I open the download manager software FlashGet, it works ok for literally about 3 - 6 seconds after which the program stops responding entirely. After it stops responding; FlashGet completely freezes up and the only way to close it is to terminate it through the Windows Task Manager.
I have version 1.8 installed and it worked fine just a few days ago. Does anyone know why this is happening? If you require more information such as pc specs - let me know Thanks Last edited by IronMan101; December 30th, 2006 at 06:24 AM. |

No, but I recently installed the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security
version 6.0.1.411. This could have something to do with it, but i'm not sure where to look first. The permission in anti-hacker, the firewall are set to Allow All for FlashGet. Any other ideas?

I just tried downloading it again as well as reinstalling. No luck - still freezes up after a few seconds. I've notice that it mainly happens when I've got more that one file waiting to start.
Could Kaspersky be somehow interfering? Anyone able to help? Last edited by IronMan101; December 31st, 2006 at 05:28 AM. |
