Can I legally put a copy of Office 2000 on my new computer???
Surely if copyright is for 5 years it should not cause any problems????

if he purchased it separately from any computer purchase then you can legally put it on your computer.

Not quite right.. You can put it on as long as HE has removed it from his system..

unless its oem which is likely the case if purchased with a system. It gotta stay with the original system. cannot be transfered to another
