when i use firefox it changes my scren resolution to a 600 resolution. i have to go to control panel to reset it but it never stays . how do i fix this ? i am using windows xp sp2:confused:

Do you mean your whole screen changes resolution, including your desktop, or just the Firefox window?

Are you running Firefox in Safe Mode? If not, try it and see what happens. If you are using it in Safe Mode, try it in normal mode.
