Is there a way to stop downloading?
Not sure if this is the place to ask. Is it possible to set IE or Windows 98 so that its not possible to download anything?

(Count this as Terry's stupid question for January cos I don't remember asking one!)

Click Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Internet zone.
Click the 'Custom Level' button. Scroll down and disable 'Downloads'. Click OK.
