Anyone have a for or against opinion: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+, 2.0Ghz, 512HB L2, 2000Mhz FSB, 1.0GB PC-2-4200 DDR SDRAM, 250GB hdd, Win XP Home, DVD+/-RW Double Layer Drive, 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet, 56K V.92 modem, 6 USB 2.0, 1 paralled, 2 PS/2,19" wide LCD Monitor, mfr 1-year limited warranty. $600 after rebate.

It would be used on a network where all (or almost all) other PCs will be running XP Pro. Any problems with Home and Pro on same network?

Not bad depending on what brand most of the parts are. Networking between home and pro isn't a problem at all really.
