Dear Respondant,
As you've no doubt assumed, I have a problem with my computer. I got a program from my friend, the parts were there so there was no need for me to install it, just to run it. It's Norton's Secret something. It's a password protector you can put on documents, but I don't believe that's apart of the problem. Anyway, a day later or so, I tried to open an .exe file but it said the parameters were not correct. So I went to View\Options, I have Windows 95, and went to Application and it said that it is now running in %1 instead of [executable]. I would go to edit the registry, but it's an .exe file and it can't be opened. None of my .exe files can be opened unless I open an already saved file, like Bubbles.bmp or some other file like .drw or whatever. So how am I able to fix this? I would be greatful for anything you could send me.
Thank you.

Hey 638 and welcome to Cyber Tech Help,

I would firstly suggest that you run a full antivirus scan.

If you do not have an antivirus scanner you can download InoculateIT (http://www.antivirus.cai.com/)

which is a good free virus scanner.

Pls post back with results...

In addition to Mishy's advice, you should be able to restore the registry path to EXE files with EXEFix08 from this site:
http://home.earthlink.net/~rmbox/Reticulated/Toys.html

Unzip it and run the COM file. Let us know if the association is repaired.
