Disc problem

On my pc I burned a dvd with files using nero. Well it said that the burning failed. Even though it said that I decided to see if any of the files did get burned so I put it in my iMac. Well, the computer is trying to, but cant read the disc. I can hear the computer trying to read it, but it doesn't see that there is a disc in there. Because of that I can't eject it. I have tried restarting my computer, but that doesn't help. Any ideas or tips to get the disc out?

Launch Utilities/Disk Utility and see if you can eject it from there.

Restart while holding down the eject key.

Look for a pin hole next to the CD drive on the iMac. Push a straightened paperclip into the hole and push the manual eject button.
