At normal shutdown, I get error messege that some application is not responding (file name "-2017944244"). Even with "end task" Windows won't shut down normaly so I end up just powering down every time I need to exit.
Any ideas about what is causing this problem? Thanks, Larry :(

Hi there,
Have you checked Windows' Startup folder, autoexec.bat and dosstart.bat?
Look in those to see if you can find something that is loading when Windows loads. Maybe something weird is running in the background when you go to shut down widnows that it doesn't like.
Only thing I can think of for now.
BTW, here is a nice little freeware program called Startup Manager that I use. You can see what is loading at startup, even stuff you won't find listed in the autoexec.bat or the Startup folder. You can disable and reinable any program with just a click. It's safe and easy to use. Go here---> http://www.delphifreestuff.com/ Then click on Freeware, then Startup Manager to download.
