my computer says microsoft is not genuine...i can't update windows media player to burn CD's...HELP PLEASE!

For folks without a legitimate copy of XP, once they obtain a legal key (just pay for it - anything else is just plain foolish) they can use the above tool to change to the new key without a reinstall or registry editing. :)

there was something like that a while back. Microsoft would provide free certified winxp if you had a pirated copy. All you had to do was to give them a copy of your receipt, turn in the person who sold/gave you the pirated copy/computer and provide other info. I do not think that programs available anymore.
