MY QUESTION IS,,,,, IF I AM THE ONLY ADMINISTOR ON MY PC AND HAVE A PASSWORD MYSELF TO MY PROFILE TO SIGN INTO WINDOWS.... CAN HE OVER RIDE ME AND HAVE ACCESS TO ALL MY PC ACTIVITY JUST BY USING THAT BIOS PASSWORD?
HOW DO U GET RID OF A BIOS PASSWORD AND DOES IT MESS UP YOUR PC BY DOING SO?

the bios password just locks up the computer to keep it from being turned on. It cannot be use to bypass any other security on the computer. Also it cannot mess up your computer.

by saying so, can you reset the BIOS password incase you forgot by resetting the jumpers for 3 secs or taking the battery out of the board??

if someone wanted access to your windows logon password all they would have to do is go into safe mode and sign in to the administrator account and remove your password the bios password i had a problem with a month or so a go on an old computer we had there are a couple of differnent ways of removing it one is to remove the jumpers or remove the battery or if that dont work you can try crossing the contectors on the battery and shorting it out but i dont advise doing that one we did it because all else failed and it was our only way in we were selling it and couldn't remember the password

take battery out, unpug comp leave it for an hour
he put the password on for a reason so you wont get into BIOS and screw something up which may kill the PC
screwing with windows costs time, since you have software and can reinstall everything
screwing with the bios can cost time and money, you can screw up some option and stuff up a component (eg overclocking) and that would cost money to replace

There can be several BIOS passwords.
You can have a password to restrict access to the setup
You can have a password to restrict the HHD from booting
