Hi everyone. Hope someone can help me sort through the zillions of gadgets that are out there. I'm trying to do some research, but its confusing.

Among handheld devices, PDA or pocketPC, which is suitable? A friend and I do pickups and dropoffs in the San Francisco area, and we're discussing ways of making our work a little more efficient. What would work best, in having a map program, that, if I downloaded from a PC, a database of addresses that would show all my contacts within that area, and if I clicked on them, would bring up info that can be modified?

Bonus if it can play MP3 files, which would help with the long drives. A camera would be nice too.

Internet or WiFi wouldn't be neccessary.

Thanks, if you can give me some pointers.

The office has already supplied me with a basic cell phone, so I'm not in a position to get another phone service, not at the volunteer "wages" I have.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a simple hand-held device, with mapping as the main function, and MP3 and camera as nice features.

What is the difference between a pocket PC and a modern PDA?

Here's one of the best in its class (http://shop.delorme.com/OA_HTML/DELibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=10106&item=25482&minisite=10020). You'll need to use the truck radio, tho. ;)
