yea, i can only hear out of one ear on my ipod shuffle, and i know its not the headphones cuz its like that no matter what headphones you use. so is thier a way i could repair this myself?

unless your good at soldering and electronics
i would suggest you to take it to an apple repair centre or something (help lines should be provided with the manual)

How old is it? Apple usually has a 1 year warranty on all it's stuff. If you're within the 1 year head over to the apple store, they are usually very easy to work with and if it's fubar they'll flip you a new one.
I know this because I went through 5. :(
