win 98 s.e. hi, when i have adobe come up on my screen i get
this message error while loading plug in.PPK Lite.api
the plug in failed to initialize. i click o-k and all
appears to work.any ideas what might be wrong?
or what i should do?.

there are lots of adobe programs, which one you need help with.

it is adobe reader 6.01 it was already on the computer
it just comes on if i have to read a document.

It's out of date. Uninstall it via add/remove progs and then download the latest version (http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Adobe-Reader--Final-Download-2572.html). ;)

If Adobe Reader still won't work for you, try Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader_2/down_reader.htm), it has a free version and is much less resource-intensive than the Adobe equivalent.
