Using Medieval font GIFs

Hi to you all.

I wonder if anybody has any tips on this:

On an article here:
How First Day Sabbatarianism Entered the ChurchI thought would start the sentence with a medieval capital letter which is actually a gif. This looks great on IE6 and 7 and on Opera but on Netscape and Firefox the gif appears to be set too low. This is the simple coding I used:
<div class="figure">
<p><img src="medieval1.gif" width="102" height="106" border="0" alt=
""></p>
</div>
Can anybody suggest any improved coding with CSS to make the gif look just the right height in all main browsers?

Thanks for your time.

Code:

Presbyterianism and Puritanism and went on to undermine the
believer's liberty in Christ in many countries.<br>
<br>
<br>
</b></p>

<img src="medieval1.gif" width="102" height="106" border="0" alt=
"" align="left" />

<p><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><font size="2" style=
"font-size: 11pt">
he New Testament makes it plain that strict
and legalistic sabbath-observance could never be part of the life
of the New Covenant Church of God (Matthew 11:28-30; Matthew
12:1-8; Mark 2:27; Romans 14:5-17; Galatians 4:10; Colossians
2:16-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; Hebrews 8:13), nevertheless (and perhaps
inevitably) S<i>abbatarianism</i> has affected many Christians.
But what are the <i>hows/whys/wherefores</i> on this? And how did
an approach which would have been anathema to the Apostle Paul
enter the Church?</font></font></p>
You don't need a div or even css.. remove the div and paragraph tags and just add align="left" to the image tag.

No problem. It's the little things that can really stump me at times.

Glad I could help.
