very newb question about wireless usb!
how does wireless work??
ive never used it... the thing is...i just bought a laptop and it came with a a wireless usb connector. with no software or instructions... it says "x-micro, 802.11b, WLAN mini usb" does this mean...if all things are working...i can walk down to the wireless coffee bar...plug this in, and everything will be compatiable? im asking because there are other usb connectors with different peripherals...so maybe this one is old...i dontknow anything ^^ |

And it is a bit old. It may be worth getting one that's 802.11g.
