should have
<some monitor name or Plug and play or Default monitor> on <some graphics card>

just need the graphics card part

nope, that only says you have a packard bell monitor. We need the graphics card or onboard graphics adapter. You can use Everest in the link below to find what graphics card you have. Once you've downloaded it, installed it and open it, click on plus sign beside the word Display in the left hand window, then click on Windows Video. Then come back here and tell us what it says. If it doesn't show anything under Windows video, click on the next one in the list "PCI/AGP".

Everest download:

SiS 530 is the chipset of the motherboard, so it would be onboard video. But which one is the question. Probably as chingy says not more than 8mb being allowed, hence the reference to 188mb ram. Total ram would be 196 minus 8mb for the video.

that sounds right, your video memory is too low

you should get a new video card, run everest so we can see what we can plug into your comp

I doubt any game will play well on 4mb video card. Especially onboard video. Even with setting turned real low, you're not going to play any games other than solitaire on that video.

You don't really need Everest unless there are more issues with your computer and want to know what components are inside or need to post those components. If you have no other issues, you can uninstall it.
