Resolutions...

New years is past... resolutions are set... wait... wrong type of resolutions. (Sorry, bad joke). Anyways, I recently had to return a really nice 17" LCD monitor, able to go up to 1280x960, to my friend. During the time that I had said monitor, I played Guild Wars at said resolution. Now... I have a mediocre 13" monitor going only up to 1024x768.
Now... I can't display Guild Wars. What can I do?

Right clcik the game shortcut, properties, compatibility, and tick Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution.
Open up the game, Lower the resolution and then tick it off after you have done so.

I tried, and it failed. I think the refresh rate on GW is too high for the monitor also... thanks for the help though!

Nothing seemed to work... so I just reinstalled the whole game. Sigh... it works now... but I have to re-download all that post-release content

Thanks for all the help though!
