Hello,
I have a friend who upgraded her computer from Windows 98 to Windows 2000, she chose FAT rather than NTFS for file system. When she runs one of her programs called ChiroOffice she receives the following error:
"16 bit subsystem application has attempted to directly access the hard disk which can not be supported."
She selects ignore button and the program comes up and everything appears to be working fine.
Does anyone know why she is getting this error? Is there a way to fix? I have reinstalled the ChiroOffice and that has not worked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
