Link Problem

Some links on websites do not work. The easiest to check is MSN Today, the window that appears when MSN Messenger is activated. None of the links in this window work. No error message appears, just the link underlines itself, and a dotted line box appears around the link. This remains until I click elsewhere on the window. Most other site links work, odd ones now and then do not. Any ideas??
Dunno if it has anything to do with it but the last 2 people who tried to send me files on MSN messenger couldn't.
Found another thing, system restore, if I try to set up a restore point, the date is 13th September 1899 and it will not change!!??

The system restore issue is a known problem.
You can get the fix from microsoft.
