Hi, I have a ibook G4 laptop with a fried hard drive. I tried to locate a hard drive for it with out spending to many $$$$$. Seems it's not that easy. I called Apple Cares even though I don't have a coverage plan and they really didn't want to talk to me. I did however get out of the tech guy that any drive needs to be an Ultra ATA 100 drive. I have located such a drive at samsung but they state on their web site that if it doesn't have an Apple logo on it, it may not work. Can anybody clarify or direct me?
Thanks,
JR
