First off, Hello to everyone here.
I am such an idiot. LOL my computer has been going slow for a little while so I thought maybe deleting some programs would help lessen the lump on it's shoulders.
I have no idea how but I deleted the volume on my computer.:rotflmao:
This is what I need back on my computer!

Oh please if someone knows how I can get it back without deleting more things on my computer (like my pictures), or where I can download it please let me know. I am in desperate need here, and I didn't know what other section to put this in lol.
I don't know if rebooting it would work, but I have so much graphic picture work on my computer I don't want nothing more to be deleted. Someone please help me...:cry2:

I don't know much about computer software, or terms too much so forgive me if I can't catch on too quick. Well, I have Windows XP.

In control panel>sounds and audio devices> volume tab is there a checkmark in the "place volume icon in the taskbar" box?

All I see is green checks by..
Adjust the system volume
Change the sound scheme
Change the speaker settings
But if I choose anyone it says "No audio device".

Would rebooting help restore everything I deleted?

Sounds like you uninstalled or deleted components needed for your sound card.
Try doing a system restore back to a date before you made the changes.

Scroll down to "Use System Restore"

Motherboard Properties:
Manufacturer ASUSTek Computer INC.
Product NAGAMI
Version 1.02
Serial Number MB-1234567890
Is that it? I also am having trouble with mp3 files on my computer. Little music symbols used to come up next to any mp3 song that I had, and now just a little paper sign comes next to it.

It's a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition/ HP Administrator.
What will rebooting help though? Will it restore all the programs I deleted in the last few hours? Will it delete any saved programs, files, music, or pictures I have on my computer? I need to know the risks...

Well after I installed it I had to restart it, and it works! I can hear stuff!:D But for some strange reason I can't use the volume keys on my keyboard. Everytime I try to turn the volume up with my keyboard it automatically goes to the lowest volume...wierd. It seems like when something is fixed, something else goes wrong grrr :curse: lol...
