Will the US DVD work in the UK?

I ask because Microsoft have the cheek to charge UK customers more than DOUBLE what US customers have to stump up for what appears to be the same product.

Even with import duty and VAT it would seem I could get Vista for half price if I bought it from the likes of amazon.com rather than .co.uk.

I'm 99.9% sure they are the same. I bought XP years ago from a US site.

Maybe someone else can say for certain.

I do not see any reason why it would not work. Its not like you are putting the OS into an electrical socket. :)
