My mom uses Win 98 and all of a sudden started having this message pop up. Any idea what this is?

Also, she says that every email she gets indicated that it has an attachment even when they do not.

And finally,
All of a sudden, my Word Perfect 12 is trying to configure. I get "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product WordPerfect Office 12. The Windows installer cannot continue."

When I try to cancel it tells me to insert the Word Perfect12 disk. Of course, I don't have one, because purchasers are not given the benefit of a copy when your computer comes preloaded. That drives me nuts! When I cancel this window, the whole process starts over again. I am using XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sound as though you have too many stored e-mails. Try to compress or delete old e-mails.

As far as the Office issue, your computer didn't come with a boot or recovery disk. If not it should be located somewhere on your computer, which you will have to make an image disk from or sometimes there is a utility to create a recovery disk.
