Go to Control Panel>Java and on the update tab, click the "Update Now" button.

Are there steps inbetween control panel & Java? I don't see it there. I see it when I click add/remove programs but update doesn't appear to be an option there.

Don't you see the Java icon in the Control Panel? If not, please remove any versions from java from your computer and go to http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp to get the latest version, I believe it's Update 10.

just a note: to see the java icon, the control panel must be in classic mode.

oops didn't know that. It was not in classic mode. I uninstalled java (it was listed 4 times in my add/rem programs list) and reinstalling now.

Well, beter remove the 4 installations and install the newest, Clearly the best solution for the Java Software.

they've always had a problem with the installer of a new version removing the previously installed version. It may be a feature for developers to test their programs on older java versions.

Well that didn't do it. It still won't print. How do I update my Adoble reader? It noticed it says I have 4.0 when it flashes on the screen and I need 5.0.

You can get the newest Adobe version from: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Ok that didn't do it either. I think I have a pop up blocker on somewhere. I found one on my google toolbar but I disabled it and that didn't do it. I'm sure there are more pop up blockers on somewhere. I use AVG antivirus, is there one in there?

Here's the weird thing...when someone sends me paypal for something I'm selling, I can click on "ship it" through paypal, it'll put me into the usps website and I can print a label that way just fine. But when I go to usps directly I can't.
