Can't get Lumix Simple Viewer to read card

I have installed Panasonic's Lumix Simple Viewer for photo transfers from the camera or card reader but when I ask it to acquire photos it gives me this message... Phoebele has caused an error in PHLEUICTRS.DLL
What does this mean and how can I get it to work?

Have you tried reinstalling the software for the program?

Thanks for the welcome. I did reinstall the sofware a couple of times but the same problem exists. It happens regardless of which USB port I use.
