Unlike everything I can find on the web I actually want PowerPoint to export higher quality/larger JPG images. I am using PowerPoint 2002 and can't seem to find a way to tell it to not compress the JPG image upon doing the "Save As" function. Most graphics packages have a "JPEG Options" button or the like that you can control this with but I am at a loss when trying to perform this from within PowerPoint.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to save as BMP or PNG images. Do so, then use an image tool (like IrfanView) to batch convert all the slide images with a compression quality of your choosing.
