Convert Works Documents

I have a complete installation (including all converters) of Office 2000. I can't convert MS Works documents with the .wps extension. I tried installing the only version of works I have but there must be a backwords compatability issue as I still can't open these docs.

There are a ton of docs to convert as I just set up a new sytem for one of my users.

Suggestions?

Hi sfrisby - You dont say what version of Works these files were created in. I see that Word 2000 can convert Works 3 and Works 4 docs so I'm guessing that the documents were created in a later version. Have a look here (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;235928).
