This might not be a problem at all as I have just installed Beta RC-1 on a separate partition on my laptop. Maybe its a beta bug; however, the sounds work when ear phones or little ext. speakers are attached, but there is nothing through the laptops speakers. The sounds are fine when i switch over to XP, so it isnt a problem with the laptop(?) Just curious to know why this is happening. Im expecting a Home Premium disc in the post sometime soon I hope, but I couldnt wait any longer :D . Will installing the proper Vista fix it do you think?
Also, AVG antispyware wont work, AVG anti virus worked for a while but then stopped.

I downloaded a driver update - Vista_R156 for Realtek high definition audio from HERE (http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/REALTEK/High-Definition-Audio-Codecs-Driver-R156.shtml) . Did the trick, Windows didnt want to use it but it seems fine. Got the lovely tinny lappy sound back :p All good practice for when I get the real thing I guess
Just need to sort the AV out.
