Try right clicking on the desktop and select propeties. ANywhere on the dekstop except on an Icon. Once the Display Properties box comes up, click on the Effects tab. Click the the Recycle Bin Icon and the click on the Default Icon button. Do the same for both Empty and Full.

Hope this helps.

First backup your registry for safety reason's, because this will change the registry, then follow TonyKlein's fix.

Copy all the text below the double hash marks to note book, then save as File name> Recycled.reg

(Save as Type to> ('all files') onto the desktop.

Doubleclick Recycled.reg.

Answer 'yes' to the prompt to merge the data into the registry.

Subsequently, reboot.

Hum! Sorry.

Ok,

Since we can't put in attachments go HERE and in Tony's post click on the Attachment: Recycled.txt link and follow his instructions.

Maybe this way it will work.

Let us know one way or the other.

I may have left something out when I copied it.
