:hmm: I noticed that I have 2 applications of ccApp running in my startup. Can I disable these? I thought one was for norton. Why the two though. Thanks.

I want to share that same thing....I deleted all of Symantic, went in and did a full search, got those, then, found some in applications that won't delete!!! I tried to download Defender, but it wouldn't download properly so I'm going to try again....but, yea, can anyone tell me how to get those ccApps off?
Thanks....:curse:

Go to Start>Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotes), click OK.
Go to the Startup tab.
Look for entries for "ccapp." If there are two that are identical, ucheck one. If there's one located in a Symantec (Norton) folder and one located elsewhere, uncheck the one that's not in a Symantec folder. Click OK.
It'll ask you if you want to reboot which you can do then or later.
When you do reboot, you'll get a message about using selective startup. Since you selected something not to start up, yes, you want to use selective startup. So check the box for "don't show me this again" and click OK.
If Norton doesn't then run as it should, go back, uncheck the ccapp you left checked, recheck the one you unchecked, reboot and see if Norton's running as it should.

Did that. Norton seems to be running ok, but when I shut down my computer ccApp comes up in the box and says this program is shutting down and to press end now or cancel. But if I end now I will lose any unsaved data. Is that ok?
