No workstation can stream radio/video. ISP is not restricting anything. We use dial-up connection over ISDN30 (I think). Running Win NT worksations (SP 6, Internet Explorer v6)on Netware 4.11. Have checked filters on server's system console (load filtcfg > save filter to a text file) - none appear enabled. Also in Border Manager checked 'Real time and RTSP' Application Proxy, (but haven't altered details that only have check box 'Enable Indexed Format Logging' - left blank). Still no joy.
Any advice? Many thanks!

which particular streaming format are you using? They all work slightly differently

Thanks for your interest Steve, however I've overcome the problem, I think:
I am using WINAMP
After going thru all the user prefs I found I had to tell Winamp (Options/Preferences/Internet) that I was accessing internet via a proxy - after entering server and port details and confirming I was using a LAN, all seemed fine ... almost! I've connected occasionally but downstreaming is never gauranteed. i.e. worked great yesterday evening, but no success this morning - at all! checked and altered all settings as before, WINAMP connects but stops. Available bandwith problem perhaps?
BUT THEN ... Interestingly, RealOne doesn't require such settings. And right now is working brilliantly.
For me WINAMP vs REAL, Real wins outright.
Any response to the above circumstances? I'd be interested in reasons, causes, relevant views on Streming formats etc.

Quite likely down to bandwidth, because of the different amount of demand for internet services at different times of the day.
As to Winamp and Real Player setting up differently, I seem to remember that Real Player asks if a proxy server is required during installation, so it would already have been given those details. Or it may have read the details from the internet control panel where IE's settings are kept.
