I am a computor novice so please kep that in mind. When I am on line and go to a site my computor will lock up. I then have to re start. Please help..

Which browser are you using ? and version number also pls.

Has this just started occuring ? What software/hardware have you installed that may have coincided with this problem starting ?

Also what sort of internet connection do you have (dial-up, DSl, Cable) etc and which ISP?

i guess my browser would be windows 95??? I have dial up isp and my trouble started when I loaded napster off of a disc i had been given by a friend.. Some friend huh?!

I doubt that your friend has done you wrong!

Napster is/was a relatively resource hungry program.

I suspect your problems relates more to choice of computers than to your choice of friends.

Please post back with a detailed description of your system.Include:

Make/model
CPU speed
amount of memory
Operating system
Version of Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Hard Disk size and amount of free,(unused), space.
