It seems like once a year, around the same time, whenever I start up my computer, all of a sudden it will give me a black screen with "SYNTAX" in white letters. Then it will go to another black screen with white letters asking me to choose a start up (safe mode, last known good configuration, windows normally, etc.)...there was an interruption with windows start up". Something to that nature. I have tried all the options listed, but all i get after, is a flicker on the screen and then an all black screen? Why is this happening? More concerned, why does it happen around the same time every year, for the last 3 years? My computer was put together by a company I learned of from a computer show...it's not store bought and it runs Windows 2000. Please Help!!!
