Net freezes after computer upgrade
I have a Compaq computer that I have had for two years. Well two weeks ago I tried to cut it on & nothing would run. I took it to the shop & they did a computer upgrade. New case , power supply , video card , motherboard & processor. Well now every 5 mins exactly. It hangs anywhere for a minute. Any idea what could be causing it? It's very annoying. I also noticed they changed my modem settings it use to say (HSP56 Micro Modem on Com 1) now it says (HSP56 Micro Modem #2 on Com 2 ) I'm really ticked about this because it never did this before they upgraded it.

Hi jlf80, Welcome to CTH! Let's see if there is a conflict with the startup programs. Go here and download, unzip and run StartupList. It will create a log file. Copy the log, then paste it into a reply.
