Your opinion about my site

Hi,i made my first web site recently...and i want your opinion about it.The design maybe could be better,but what about the central idea?Do you like it?From the until now small attendance of visitors,i think it acquires an interesting form.What do you think?
Any comments or observations are useful. :)

I will be honest, i went to the site and immediately left, it is hard on the eyes, the color scheme and the fonts made it hard to read. IMO, it looks more like one of those sites to avoid because a visitor might catch something.

No,You have to avoid nothing,it's just my first site :)
You say this cause of black background maybe?

I agree with renegade. Hard on the eyes. Red text on black is pretty hard to read for humans in general as is the purple on black. You need more contrast between the colors. The yellow works but against black it's awfully "loud".

There's not really much more to comment on. There's no real layout for the site, just seems to be a conglomeration of different areas each formatted differently.

I don't understand the need for two navigation bars with identical content.

As i said is my first site,i understand that design need some improvements.What about the content?The visitors participate sending links everyday (personal sites, links at “What you saw section etc) and i intend to keep the site at this form. :)

content dont mean a thing if the look of the site is not appealing. You gotta have something that looks good and dont hurt the eyes before you get people that actually look at content.

I looked at the "front" page, the orange buttons against the black background doesn't look right, and as Buzz stated the text colours just do not work with the black background, I can read the red text, but the "purple" text or whatever colour it is, is unreadable. Also when mousing over the hypelinks, them darned "pop ups" would make me to not want to return to the site.

Then clicking on one (I actually clicked on more than one) of the orange buttons, I see you've changed the hyperlinks "text" colour to blue!

You say it's your first website creation, kudo's to you for venturing into doing it and sharing it here with us. A suggestion would be to maybe look around at other websites and get a "feel" of how they are "colour" friendly. There's many a dark coloured website out there where the text is readable for all. Once you've decided upon a colour "theme" that's friendly for all to read, then keep that same "theme" for each page.

Just an IMHO. :)

The layout is great and your ads are blended well. Everything is easy to read too!
design is perfect and with good information I wanna want have such a nice site
I would have to disagree from their comments. I think you should improve your fonts especially your header tags.
The site structure should be improved, it doesn't make you wanna click any further. The structure should be made by colors, size or order.
May be some qualitative web designer shall provide you the necessary productive feedback.
