issues installing oblivion

alright, ive played oblivion since the launch and never had an issue until now.. i had to reformat my computer due to a hard head crash on one of my hard drives, which is odd because normally a format of the main hard drive isnt required, but whatever... my point is that i go to install the game and it gives me a message box that says 'D:\ not a valid win32 application" so instead of using the actual disc, i made an iso of the dvd and mounted it, and it gave me the same box... any ideas?

also, i just tested it on another computer, and it worked... possible OS issue?

Try installing it in Safe Mode.
