I'm in an RV park that provides wireless high-speed
Internet. I have two XP computers with network
adapters. One is connected to the Internet. The
other one won't find the wireless network.

I'm using Windows XP Home with a Buffalo WLI-DB
G54HP Wireless LAN Adapter. System says "device
is working properly."

I've repaired the connection, but the adapter won't
detect the wireless network.

Suggestions?

Your network adapter came with a utility to connect to your network. Disable WinXP, and try using the utility that come with your adapter.

Installed Client Manager 3 from the CD. It's not
finding the network either.

And a related question -- if the slot for the card is bad, where
you put the card into the computer -- and I think that might be
likely, what about a USB network adapter that does the same
thing as the network adapter card that I have?

Can anybody recommend one?
