Advice on gaming pc
Hey all,

I've given up with my PC, as soon as i've fixed one problem, another one arises. I've been looking around the net to see what i can get for a fairly cheap, good performance gaming PC (if there is such thing).

These are the parts which i am considering buying:

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Socket 939) - OEM - £37.59
DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard - £105
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 - £105
EVGA GeForce 7900 GS 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - £140
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Sound Card -£18.79
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160GB ST3160811AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - £42
Pioneer DVR-111BK 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - £22.31
Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case - 450W Smart Power PSU - £70

Some are recommendations so i wanted some expert advice() on whether anything should be changed and what to.

You may want to consider upgrading to a dual core processor if you plan on keeping the pc for a while, but them specs would run most games fine.

Are those processors that cheap now?

Hmmm.. maybe I should upgrade.

Out of interest Tom, what site are you looking at for those parts? I tend to use aria, ccl computers and ebuyer.
