OK, so I live near a campus and can access it's wireless network on one end of my house. However, my bedroom with my pc is on the opposite end. It has a wireless card but cannot pick up any networks. Therefore I have been using my notebook to access it in the other room and using crossover cable to transfer files that i've downloaded.
I've recently set up a strange little configuration but havnt quite figured it out. I now have my notebook in the other room with an internal wireless card accessing the network. I have a network calbe from the notebook to a wireless router (the cable plugged into the internet port on the router). My pc in the other end of the room has a wireless card with the antenna screwed off and an antenna booster screwed in its place pointed directly at router. I have no problem accessing the router with the pc and can now exchange files between pc and notebook via the router, but my question is:
Is it possible, using this configuration, to access the internet on the pc through the notebook connection? I havnt figured it out yet so if anyones knows, please let me know.
thanks
