Unhappy Yahoo Games

Can anyone please help me. I have been an addict to yahoo backgammon for about 5 years now and apart from the occasional boot and freeze issue I have been fine until now. For the last few months I have been unable to play a decent game because I keep being frozen and the lag is seriously bad.
I have updated java and tried different browsers (I have opera , IE and firefox which is the one I use mostly ) but to no avail. I am on wireless broadband which seems fine as the pages load without a problem. I really don't know what to do now.
Yahoo is a real pain and getting me down big time ........ hope someone has some suggestions please .......

Thank you in anticipation.

try deleting the files in your temporary internet folder, including any cookies. One of the problems with yahoo right now is they are making major changes. Lately I have been seeing a lot of complaints in the different yahoo groups I belong to about difficulties in gaming, chatting, and posting. Theres been no real solution yet except to wait and see.

One thing though, have you made any changes to your firewall? or add any type of antispyware program on your computer recently?

Hi Dan
Thank you for getting back to me ...... I don't think I have changed any firewall settings ... I run zonealarm, what would i check on that?? Also , I haven't loaded any other spyware programs , I have adaware and spybot and ewido and I run AVG as my virus scanner.
Is it worth doing a hijack this log to check??
I havent got a great system but it was working pretty well before as I said.
Thanks Dan .... await to hear.

you can do the hijackthis thing if you want. You could have some nasty on your system causing problems.
