I have a Dlink DSL-G604T ADSL modem router connecting wirelessly to my PC using a Belkin wireless 802.11g USB network adapter. I have tried encrypting the connection between the 2 but when i tried it didnt work it just stopped the internet... anyone know how i encrypt the connection?

you can set up WEP encryption through your router, which creates a "WEP Key" that must be typed in when connecting to your network for the first time with the encryption enabled. Make sure that you type in the encryption key exactly how it is displayed. (if it's in capital letters then use capital letters when typing it in.) If you don't type in the encryption key or don't type it in correctly you won't be able to connect to the internet.
